I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in helping couples and individuals strengthen relationships. I work with people facing some of the most painful and pivotal moments in their relationships, including infidelity, chronic distance, entrenched patterns of conflict, and marriages on the brink of divorce.
Drawing from Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and attachment theory, my approach combines compassion, lightheartedness, and directness. I help couples repair emotional injuries, communicate clearly, sooth intense emotions, and rebuild the trust and connection that have been lost.
I have dedicated my career to helping couples move through relationship difficulties with greater presence and intention. At the heart of my work is a hopeful but grounded belief that relationships can heal and evolve. Even after significant hurt, when people are willing to look at themselves, recognize their impact on their partner, and engage in the work of repair, change is possible.
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my life partner and our five children in Encinitas, where we live. I feel most restored when I'm with my family, spending time near the ocean, running along the 101, or enjoying nature.
